A Bustling Neighborhood at Your Doorstep

Waterside is within a short walk of the fine restaurants, shops, multiplex theaters, religious institutions, schools, universities and colleges, hospitals and recreational facilities that border Waterside's perimeter.

Located on the south end of the Waterside complex itself is the United Nations International School (UNIS), a private co-educational day school. Many students and their families, as well as teachers and administrators of UNIS reside at Waterside.

Directly west of Waterside is the New York University/Bellevue/Veterans Hospital complex many of whose medical and technical staff make Waterside their home.

To the North is the United Nations complex, the celebrated Water Club restaurant, a private heliport, and a ferry port connecting to lower Manhattan.

See a partial list of schools, houses of worship, and hospitals in the right-hand column.
